Tamás Kitka, PhD, is founder and Managing Director of CREATe Therapeutics, where he leads the development of a first-in-class drug-controlled CNS gene therapy for refractory focal epilepsy. A neuroscientist with 17 years in pharmaceutical and biotech R&D, he has worked across the full preclinical pipeline, from early discovery to GLP-compliant development, and across modalities including small molecules, miniproteins, and cell and gene therapies. At Gedeon Richter he led a research group that advanced two projects into clinical development; at the CRO Aurigon he designed preclinical programmes for clients from academic spin-offs to big pharma. He also serves as Chief Development Officer at VRG Therapeutics.
