Dr John Preedy is an expert with extensive experience in the offshore oil and gas industry. DrPreedy worked for BP for 28 years as a Research Associate and Team Leader, focusing on feasibilitystudies and troubleshooting across various aspects of BP’s businesses. His offshore expertiseincludes subsea robotics, seabed production concepts, underwater repair techniques, andmaintenance cost reduction strategies.

After leaving BP, Dr Preedy continued his work in the offshore industry through Azur OffshoreLtd, contributing to worldwide field development projects. He has also been actively involvedin delivering industry-standard courses to world-wide Companies and professional engineersglobally and has served as a university lecturer and visiting professor at institutions such asCranfield University, ENSTA Brest, Delft University, and the Technical University of Malaysia. His vastexperience and academic contributions make him a highly qualified instructor for this programme.
