Waseem Anwer, a teacher and thought leader, consults for companies worldwide and trains top executives seeking a higher-level understanding of financial economics. A rich academic perspective is complemented by hands-on involvement in world markets. Trained in finance and management at the University of Chicago, he earned an MBA. He also holds an MS in Computer Engineering.

He was the lead finance instructor for Informa Middle East during 2003-2010. A trusted advisor to privately-owned and publicly held corporate clients in developed and emerging economies, Waseem focuses on strategic initiatives to optimize the value equation. He served on the board of Capitas Group International, an international joint venture formed by IDB, a multilateral institution, for six years. As a Vice President for Stern Stewart & Company, he was a key member of firm’s Latin American team, after spending five years with Hewlett-Packard.
