Course Overview

The Data Management Fundamentals (DMF) exam sits at the Associate level of the Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP ) certification and is a mandatory exam to begin your CDMP journey. This course addresses one of the most urgent challenges facing modern organisations: the need to build strong, trusted, AI-ready data foundations. As businesses accelerate digital transformation, adopt automation, and integrate AI into critical workflows, the quality, governance, and structure of organisational data have become mission-critical. To qualify for a Certificate of Completion from Informa Connect Academy, learners are required to meet the below criteria:

Punctuality and Attendance:

• Eligibility for the Certification of Completion is linked to full attendance
• Unavoidable absence of up to 2 hours of the total course duration may be considered upon prior written approval to Informa Connect Academy
• Learners who do not qualify for the Certificate of Completion will receive a Certificate of Attendance indicating the number of hours attended

• This is an exam preparation course. Upon completing the course, participants will be provided with a voucher enabling them to register and take the exam at their convenience
• Delegates will need to register themselves on the portal and book the exam directly with DAMA via https://cdmp.info/exams
• The exam consists of 100 multiple-choice questions and must be completed within 90 minutes
• Delegates will need to pass the Data Management Fundamentals (DMF) exam with a score of 60% or higher to get the Associate level certificate
