Beijing Health Alliance Charitable Foundation (BJHACF) is a 5A-top level foundation with public fundraising qualifications approved by the Civil Affairs authority in China. Since the establishment in 2010, BJHACF has been committed to carrying out social assistance, promoting exchanges and research in the field of medicine, supporting philanthropic projects in the field of health assistance for patients. After 15 years of development, we have strictly ensured compliance with organisational governance internally, continuously expanded our fundraising channels, and achieved a donation income of 3 billion RMB in FY2024, making us a leading NGO in China. We are designated in medical philanthropy, and our main focus fall on patient assistance and capacity building for health professionals. BJHACF is positioned as a Patient Advocacy Group. We continue to develop the Patient Assistance Program (PAP) to help patients address the accessibility and affordability of innovative medicines and improve their quality of life. So far, we have directly and indirectly helped more than 1.8 million patients in the areas of oncology, rare diseases and chronic diseases. BJHACF advocates for PAP as part of the "multi-tier health financing" solution to the overall Chinese healthcare system. BJHACF provides solutions to capcity building for health professional in the overall framework of compliance endorsement nowadays in China. Specifically, we empor health professionals from three aspects: clinical capacity building, continous medical education and R&D support. BJHACF leads a comprehensive program called "Global Academic Journey" to raise funds and match Chinese doctors to participate in international academic exchanges. In 2024, we have organized and supported nearly 500 doctors from all over China to participate in 27 international conferences, covering oncology, gastroenterology, kidney transplantation, rheumatology and immunology, ophthalmology and other diseases, in China, the United States, Japan, Singapore, Canada and Northern Europe.
