Haifeng obtained his PhD degree in organic chemistry from the University of Pennsylvania in 2002. He then joined GSK at the suburban Philadelphia sites and worked with several therapeutic areas, cumulatively he led 10+ FIC projects, covering target ID to clinical PoC, and was a key contributor to FDA approved Gepotidacin. In 2019 Haifeng moved to Shanghai as a senior director at JnJ Innovation center, performed S&E in Asia Pacific for infectious disease, immunology and neurology TA. 2021 he joined Shanghai JeYou Pharma as CSO and head of R&D, within 5 years he led the team and advanced 20+ projected into clinic, achieved one NDA and four licensed-out deals. He joined Highslab as CSO in the beginning of 2026.
