Profile

Dr. Huijuan Jia, who holds a Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry from Tianjin University, is the Chairwoman and CEO of Rongchuang Kangkai, as well as the Chief Scientist at the Tianjin International Joint Academy of Biomedicine. She holds a senior professional title and is recognized as a leading figure in the Zhongguancun high-end talent program and as an innovation and entrepreneurship leader in Tianjin.

As an industry leader, Dr. Jia combines extensive experience in top-tier global CRO services, management at major pharmaceutical companies, and successful entrepreneurship. During her time as a senior executive at WuXi AppTec, she provided in-depth services to 18 of the world's top 20 pharmaceutical companies. As a founding member of the company's botanical drug R&D center, she accumulated profound expertise in the modernization of botanical drugs. Later, as Assistant to the Chairman of Sihuan Pharmaceutical Holdings Group, she oversaw R&D at the Beijing Research Institute and achieved a 5.5-fold increase in the number of projects submitted for registration within a single year.

An interdisciplinary strategist, Dr. Jia integrates artificial intelligence, supramolecular chemistry, nanomaterials, and biomedicine. She is the inventor of several core technologies, including the globally disruptive delivery platform Pg-Nano™, and has applied for 76 patents both in China and internationally. Leading her team, she has successfully developed 18 innovative products based on active components from medicinal and edible homologous herbs, which are designed to reverse complex diseases and prevent health issues. Among these, nine products have already achieved large-scale production, demonstrating her ability to navigate the entire value chain from technological innovation to market realization.

She also serves as a Ph.D. supervisor at the School of Life Sciences, Tianjin University.
