Dr. Jia Zhuang focuses on the industrial transformation and venture investment of innovative and disruptive biotech topics. Dr. Jia Zhuang joined ATLATL Ventures as Executive Director, leading incubation and investment taskforce at ATLATL, and recently seed invested Codone Biotech, Synthetica, PLD Technology, etc. Before ATLATL, he worked at Hillhouse, responsible for the early-stage investment of several biotech companies with global values. Dr. Jia Zhuang received B.S. from Fudan University and Ph.D. from University of California San Diego, also worked with Dr. Robert Langer at MIT, with major research focus on drug delivery and biomaterials. He has published >30 articles with >3,500 citations in top journals such as Nature Materials, Science Translational Medicine, Science Robotics, Science Advances, PNAS, etc., many of which have been filed for patents and are undergoing technical transfer.
