Dr. Will Liu is Managing Director of BeiGene BioVentures, specializing in investment and venture creation of biotech and therapeutic startups. Dr. Liu has over twenty years of experience in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Prior to joining BeiGene BioVentures, he was a Partner at Eight Roads Ventures China focusing on early-stage investment of therapeutic companies. He also held several positions of business development in multinational pharmaceutical companies, including Head of BD for Neurosciences at GSK and Head of External Innovation China at Merck KGaA. Dr. Liu was trained as a scientist and had worked in drug discovery for over ten years in the US. He graduated from Nankai University in China and received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Michigan.
