Nitin Mehta is Head of Public Affairs and Corporate Sustainability at Janus Henderson Investors. He is responsible for leading the firm’s Public Affairs team in identifying priority issues across industry, government and regulatory developments to help shape the environment in which the firm operates in.

In addition, he will continue developing and implementing the firm's Corporate Sustainability strategy. Previously, Nitin served as Head of Corporate Sustainability from early 2025; Head of ESG Operations & Regulatory Change from 2024, initially taking on Responsibility operations in 2023 and as ESG Business Director from 2022. He joined the firm as ESG Programme Manager in 2021.

Before joining the firm, Nitin was a Project Manager and PMO lead with NBC Universal’s Global Finance Transformation Programme from 2020. He was contracted in business management and analysis roles at NEST Pensions over 2018 to 2020. He spent 15 years at Fidelity International, most recently as Associate Director in Equities Investment Management. Prior to this, he worked in Trade Finance at Deutsche Bank.

Nitin received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from University of Delhi and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde, graduating with distinction. He holds the CFA Institute Certificate in ESG Investing and has 26 years of financial industry experience.
