With nearly 20 years in the maritime industry and a licensed engineer, Joe St. Pierre is a terminal manager for Crowley Wind Services, focused on the development and operations of the Salem Offshore Wind Terminal. Once the terminal is complete, St. Pierre will serve as the terminal manager responsible for all operations at the site.
Before joining Crowley in 2023, St. Pierre served as the property manager for Marine Properties at the Massachusetts Developmental Finance Agency, where he managed the operations and maintenance of marine commerce terminals, ensuring tenant needs aligned with the agency’s mission. His extensive marine engineering background includes key roles such as First Assistant Engineer at SeaRiver Maritime Inc. and Third Engineer at BW Gas ASA. St. Pierre holds a bachelor’s degree in marine engineering and a master’s degree in facilities management from the Massachusetts Maritime Academy. He spent several years as a U.S. Merchant Mariner, traveling the world aboard ocean-going vessels, and continues to serve in the U.S. Navy Reserves’ Strategic Sealift Officer Program.
