Eimear O’Leary is the Director of Communications and Advocacy for the Irish Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association (IPHA). She is a communications and stakeholder relationships leader with a track record of delivering high-impact digital engagement projects, earned media and political influence strategies. She has in-depth knowledge of Ireland’s international research-based biopharmaceutical industry and the policy and legislative drivers that shape it.

Prior to working with IPHA she worked both in Public Affairs and as a Parliamentary Assistant for members of the Fine Gael political party over a period of ten years. She holds a PhD and MBS in Government from University College Cork.
