This course will provide a clear understanding of the commercial opportunities for utility-scale battery storage in Australia’s National Electricity Market (NEM).
Our expert instructor will explain the design of the NEM and the critical issues facing the electricity industry as it undergoes the biggest transformation in its history. The course will focus on the role of battery storage in the energy transition and in particular, the revenue streams for battery storage.
You will also learn about the pros and cons of different battery technologies, project configurations (e.g. standalone versus hybrid), energy policy, and language used within the electricity industry.
