With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, spanning both large- and smallscale projects, Chad has built a career grounded in technical expertise and hands-on leadership. While pursuing a BSc in Civil Engineering at the University of Calgary, Chad began an internship with CANA Construction in May 1997. Upon graduation he transitioned into a full-time role as Project manager and Engineer for CANA until 2005. Chad transitioned to working alongside his father as Principal of Akela Construction, later joined by brother Kade to expand Akela into the company it is now.
