Chris Kailing is a Principal with Group2, who has spent more than two decades working at the intersection of design, construction, and stakeholder engagement, advocating for delivery models that bring owners, architects, builders, and trades together earlier and more effectively to solve industry-wide challenges. He is passionate about the role collaboration can play in solving some of Canada’s most pressing challenges, including housing affordability, project productivity, and the delivery of complex community infrastructure. His recent work on a major housing development in Ontario aligned with the goals of the federal Build Canada Housing initiative has provided firsthand insight into the opportunities and challenges of accelerating housing delivery at scale. A respected leader in Integrated Project Delivery (IPD), Chris believes that meaningful gains in productivity, quality, and affordability come from breaking down traditional silos and creating environments where the right expertise is engaged at the right time.
