Matt is the Head of Conduct Risk & Compliance Monitoring at Legal & General. He leads the team that undertake a range of second line, non-financial risk monitoring reviews across Legal & General. Matt joined Legal & General in 2018 and was originally responsible for the Group-wide Conduct Risk Policies and conduct risk reporting to entity Boards and risk committees, before moving to lead the Monitoring team in 2021. Prior to joining Legal & General, Matt was a Manager at PwC working in their regulatory risk assurance practice, working with a range of financial services clients on any regulatory challenges they may be facing. Matt started his career at the Financial Services Authority, later moving to the Financial Conduct Authority, where he worked as a Supervisor within the insurance department.
