In North America, Mr. Khan played a pivotal role in the market introductions of leading brands such as Juul (Juul Labs), Vuse and Glow (BAT), and LIX nicotine pouches. Currently, he serves as the Global CEO of Nevcore Innovations Inc., a pioneering startup in the global harm reduction space. Under his leadership, Nevcore Innovations, headquartered in the USA, has launched CLEW, a revolutionary nicotine pouch accepted by the USA FDA. Supported by a global network of investors, Nevcore Innovations boasts a robust distribution footprint across North America, Asia, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Previously, as the Chief Executive Officer of LIX Innovations Inc., Mr. Khan led his team to develop L!X, Canada’s first FDA and PMTA approved modern oral nicotine brand. L!X achieved remarkable success, becoming a top-selling nicotine pouch brand in Circle K stores across the USA and online through global e-tailers like Northerner.com and Nicokick.com. This success culminated in a multi-million dollar acquisition deal by ITG Brands USA in June 2023.

A dynamic entrepreneur, Waqas Khan has co-founded four ventures, including Brillio Tech Inc. that got acquired by Johnson and Johnson in the med-tech sector. Brillio Tech aims to alleviate the suffering of chronic wound patients with its innovative, low-cost, 3D printed solution, ‘Smart Bandage.’ This groundbreaking technology, equipped with inkjet-printed patented sensors, provides real-time data to smartphones, enabling patients, doctors, and nursing staff to monitor and treat chronic wounds effectively.
