Sustainability Initiatives at Copay

We are committed to having a positive impact on people and planet. We want to play a key role in helping the Bio/Pharma Industry improve its own sustainability by connecting people with the networks and knowledge they need to help solve the big challenges of the future.

We are proud to deliver you a sustainable event by launching several new initiatives noted below.

Digital Event Agenda

In lieu of distributing a printed agenda at the live event in Philadelphia, we will deliver an environmentally-friendly digital agenda through our ConnectMe app

Lanyards & Name Tags

We will be using a TerraCycle Zero Waste Box to recycle used lanyards and nametags after the event.

Diversity & Inclusion

We want everyone to feel like they belong and for our communities to feel inspired and benefit from the diverse identities, innovation and ideas we showcase.

Renewable Energy

As a part of our continued commitment to the sustainability of this conference, we have switched to 100% renewable electricity for our event. This makes our electricity usage carbon neutral and significantly reduces the carbon footprint of our event.

Our 'Better Stands' Approach

Through our commitment to the evolution of the exhibitions industry, we aim to ensure that we are delivering the best possible experience for our customers. We believe that by moving away from the use of disposable exhibition booths we will improve the ease, quality, safety and sustainability of the exhibitor experience at our events. We aim to further minimize exhibition waste by removing carpet in our aisles, using digital signage options as much as possible or using eco cardboard. Finally, encouraging our exhibitors to minimize handouts by utilizing our digital download QR code technology at their booths.

Wellbeing

Maintaining a healthy lifestyle can make a huge difference to your wellbeing and physical and mental performance, whether in the office, at home or at an event. We have incorporated wellbeing activities into the agenda, hydration stations and more.

Meet Our Sustainability Partner – C.U.A. Cares

During the Copay, Reimbursement and Access Congress, you'll have the opportunity to make Winter Kits that will be donated to C.U.A. Cares.

We would like to take a moment to highlight our sustainability initiative and partnership with the local Caring People Alliance, and more specifically, their C.U.A. Cares program. C.U.A. Cares serves the Northwest region of Philadelphia and provides essential suppor.t and resources to children and families to create safe and stable environments. During the Day 1 afternoon networking and refreshment break, from 3:15-3:45 in the exhibit hall, you will have the opportunity to help pack winter kits for folks apart of the C.U.A. Cares program. We encourage everyone to stop by, make a kit and help give back.

The Caring People Alliance is dedicated to empowering families and strengthening communities in Philadelphia, focusing on improving the safety, stability, and well-being of children and families.
