Health & Safety at CREATE

CREATE: The Future of Foodservice will be organized in accordance with Informa’s AllSecure health and safety standards. As the world’s leading events’ organizer, Informa has developed a detailed set of enhanced measures to provide the highest levels of hygiene and safety at its events, providing everyone with reassurance and confidence they are participating in a safe and controlled environment.

Know Before You Go

What to expect at CREATE?  The health and safety of our customers and staff is our top priority.  Please review our Health & Safety FAQ page for detailed information about the on-site experience.

Cleaning and Hygiene

Here are measures we will take to facilitate the highest levels of cleanliness and hygiene:

Enhanced Cleaning

CREATE will undertake enhanced, deep cleaning before, during and after our events, working with venue partners to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness. This includes continuous sanitization throughout the course of an event, with a focus on high-touch areas such as door handles, restrooms and food and beverage areas.

Personal Hygiene

CREATE will provide additional hand sanitizing stations, sponsored by ECOLAB, throughout the event space, encouraging all participants to regularly wash and disinfect their hands.

Physical Distancing

We will manage physical distancing through the following processes:

Non-Contact Registration

Through increased use of technology, CREATE aims to minimize lines and entry transactions. Visitors are encouraged to register online before the show enabling barcode scanning for contactless entry.

Crowd Density Standards (CDS)

CREATE will maintain a density of participants. This will be managed through one or more control measures such as pre-show communications to participants, as well on-site signage and floor markings.

Physical Distancing

CREATE is following a 3-foot radial distance / 6 feet of physical distance per person. There will be one-way entrances and exits into session rooms. Lounges, table rounds, seating areas will be arranged to ensure social distancing.  Elevators and Restrooms will have capacity controls.

Detect and Protect

We are committed to delivering a healthy and safe experience with requiring either proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test, taken within 72 hours, to ensure a safe experience for all. Measures are in place for both protection and early detection:

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

We are following the latest CDC, state and local health authority guidelines on mask wearing. We will have masks available for all guests should they choose to wear one.

First Aid

CREATE will have access to a qualified first aid responder for any immediate medical needs or medically related questions.

Stay Safe at CREATE

Our vendors are taking all precautions and providing added tips on designing a Safe and Successful Event. GES, our event General Contractor, will be following guidelines provided by the ESCA to help create a safe environment for all. GES has also created their own Health & Safety guides as one of the first vendors to help execute a safe event in 2021. Check out the GES Health & Safety page for more information.

The Sheraton Denver Downtown has taken sensible precautions onsite such as:

  • Deployed additional hand sanitizer stations in high trafficked areas throughout the venue.
  • Installation of additional hygiene advisory signage throughout the venue.
  • Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfecting commonly touched areas by use of electrostatic sprayers.
  • Employing face coverings and social distancing measures onsite, in support of public health recommendations
