Claire is both a restaurant operator and an investor. As a partner at Cougar Point Partners (CPP), she oversees her family's portfolio of 11 investments across the hospitality and experiential industries. CPP focuses on what is enduring (what is never going anywhere) and what is inevitable (where the puck is going) and invests across stages and businesses within the hospitality industry.

Claire also plays an active investor role with one of the portfolio companies, The Burger Dock. The Burger Dock is currently a two-unit casual hamburger spot in Northern Idaho that prioritizes locally sourced ingredients and creates elevated takes on the classics. She wears many hats as an owner-operator, but focuses mostly on operations, growth, hiring, and storytelling.

Prior to taking over her family's portfolio, Claire worked in private equity for Brown Brothers Harriman and in management consulting at Deloitte. She graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University where she was a four-year varsity athlete.
