Jason Lee joined Din Tai Fung in 2022, serving as the Vice President of Supply Chain, where he leads the team responsible for sourcing and distributing Din Tai Fung's premium ingredients to their U.S. and Canada restaurants, as well as ensuring the highest standards of food quality and safety from farm to kitchen to table.
During his tenure, Jason has identified efficiencies to elevate Din Tai Fung’s Supply Chain program, including establishing functions such as Distribution & Logistics and Food Safety Quality Assurance. The improved program allows the company to perform the most cost-effective go-to-market strategies and expand to any new market within North America.
Prior to Din Tai Fung, Jason spent seven years with Cava Group and Five Guys, where he built supply chain teams to support aggressive growth plans domestically and internationally, converting ~200 Zoe’s Kitchen locations to Cavas and entering two to four new countries per year for Five Guys. Prior to Foodservice, Jason held progressive supply chain management roles for Fortune 500 companies Stanley Black and Decker and McCormick & Co.
Jason has a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Supply Chain Management from the University of Maryland, College Park, and an MBA from the University of Maryland, Global Campus.
