Rob Hosack, AICP, is Director of Land Use and heads up our zoning modification and hearing team. A veteran planner and former County Manager, Rob offers unmatched expertise in land use, zoning, and public-sector leadership across Georgia. Leveraging his background and relationships developed over his 25-year career in county government, Rob has successfully obtained land use modifications, map amendments and use permits in over a dozen states stretching from Florida to Michigan to California. He began his career as a Community Planner for the State of Tennessee. He served in Cobb County Government for more than 30 years as a Senior Planner, Coordinator for Intergovernmental Relations, Planning Division Manager, and Director of the Community Development Agency, a position he held for 15 years. In his role with the Community Development Agency, Mr. Hosack earned unparalleled experience as the lead county representative, in partnership with the Atlanta Braves, on the development of Truist Park and The Battery. He is a Nationally Certified Planner through the American Institute of Certified Planners and a Certified Public Manager through the Carl Vinson Institute of Government at the University of Georgia.
