Scott Boatwright is the Chief Executive Officer and a member of the Board of Directors for Chipotle Mexican Grill. Appointed in November 2024, Mr. Boatwright previously served as Interim Chief Executive Officer since August 2024. Prior to that, he held the role of Chief Operating Officer/Chief Restaurant Officer since May 2017. Mr. Boatwright was named to Best Practice Institute’s “Top Most Loved CEOs of 2025” list, named “Operations CREATOR of the Year” by Nation’s Restaurant News in 2021, and named to Fast Casual’s “2020 Top 25 Executives” list.

Prior to Chipotle, Mr. Boatwright spent 18 years with Arby’s Restaurant Group in various leadership positions. He most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Operations, where he was responsible for the performance of over 1,700 Arby’s restaurants in numerous states.

Mr. Boatwright is a member of Business Roundtable and Business Council. He holds a Master of Business Administration from the J. Mack Robinson College of Business at Georgia State University.
