Sean Potter is the CEO and Partner of Built On Hospitality, a Charlotte-based hospitality company focused on developing, operating, and managing distinctive food and beverage concepts.

Under Sean’s leadership, Built On Hospitality has grown into a multi-concept portfolio that includes The Goodyear House, Folia, Chief’s Modern Cocktail Parlor, and Old Town Kitchen & Cocktails, with several additional concepts currently in development. The company was recently selected to oversee all food and beverage operations for The Beckworth, a luxury boutique hotel opening in Uptown Charlotte.

Sean’s career spans more than 20 years in hospitality operations, concept development, and restaurant growth. Prior to co-founding Built On Hospitality, he held leadership roles with STK Steakhouse, helping open and operate locations across the United States, and later led food and beverage initiatives for Marriott’s Center City Charlotte innovation projects.

Today, Sean’s focus is on building scalable hospitality businesses without sacrificing the individuality of each concept. His approach centers on creating strong operating systems, developing leaders, maintaining financial discipline, and allowing each brand to have its own identity while benefiting from the resources and expertise of a larger organization.
