Steve Kislow is CEO and President of Charlotte-based Firebirds Wood Fired Grill. Kislow jump-started his restaurant career during his eight-year tenure with Morton’s of Chicago Steakhouse, where he held various roles including Chef and Managing Partner, before joining Firebirds in 2003. He served as Managing Partner of Firebirds in Richmond, Virginia – the company’s third restaurant – before moving to Arizona and serving as Market Partner, overseeing dozens of the company’s restaurants out west. Kislow helped open dozens of Firebirds restaurants as an operations leader as the brand grew from 3 locations to 52, ultimately serving as the company’s Chief Operating Officer before taking on the company’s CEO position in 2021.
