Suzie Tsai is Chief Executive Officer for Bonchon, a global leader in Korean fried chicken. Tsai joined Bonchon U.S. in August 2023 as Chief Growth Officer and was appointed Chief Executive Officer two months later.
Suzie has been in the restaurant industry for more than 15 years. Before joining Bonchon, she was vice president of marketing for On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina. Her experience includes leadership roles at KidZania USA and Brinker International, including working with the Chili’s brand.
Beyond her business acumen and deep experience, Suzie is unabashedly blazing trails as a woman of color in a restaurant industry executive leadership position. In her current role as Bonchon CEO, her personal history also helps her guide the brand. She immigrated as a teenager from South Korea and saw her parents start businesses in the U.S., giving her a greater connection with many Bonchon franchise owners.
Suzie earned a B.A. in Economics from Southern Methodist University and MBA in International Business from The University of Texas at Dallas. She resides in Dallas, Texas with her family.
