Profile
I studied Politics and International Relations at Queen Mary University of London and graduated with First Class Honors in 2022. During my time at university I started to learn more about the politics and history of the ocean. I wrote my dissertation on the working lives of seafarers with a specific focus on seafarer abandonment. After completing my degree I started an internship at the International Transport Workers Federation (ITF) where I worked in the Sustainable Transport team carrying out research on a range of topics for 9 months. After my internship I started my role as the Project Coordinator of the Maritime Just Transition Task Force working for the UN Global Compact in April 2024.
