Ozgur is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Maritime Trainer since 2011.
His main objective is establishing the strategy, aligning the right human resources around this strategy and let them create innovative and end to end digital training solutions to the shipping companies and seafarers to meet demanding industry requirements.
Prior to start his journey at Maritime Trainer, he worked on various tanker types, worked as a lecturer at a Maritime Academy, served as the Training Coordinator of two major Shipping Companies, established and Managed Turkey's top crewing agency. He has a wealth of experience on developing and delivering maritime, safety, human factors and simulator training.
Using all these skills, together with a young and talented team, he managed to create a distinctive platform and cutting-edge content to assist shipping companies select the best candidate, train and retain them in an affordable manner.
He also participates in the Graduate Club, the Chamber of Shipping, and charities that support efforts to address the issues facing seafarers.
