Dennis Svane Hansen has 14 years of Crewing experience within Ship Management and Ship Owning.

Currently heading Marine People Solutions in Maersk, which covers Marine HR support functions such as Training, Systems & Process, Industrial Relations, Compensation & Benefits and Payroll

Prior to this, held the position as Vice president for Marine HR in BW Group, which included oversight for BW Manning Offices in India and Philippines.

Previous experiences also include Head of Strategic Crewing in Thome Ship Management and various roles within Liner operations with Maersk Line in countries such as Denmark, Kenya, South Africa, and Singapore.

Dennis started his career as a Deck Officer with Maersk Line in 1990 and had a short stint in the Royal Danish Navy as a lieutenant.
