Georgia joined the International Seafarers’ Welfare and Assistance Network (ISWAN) as Projects and Relationships Manager in April 2021. Her role is to develop and lead on the delivery of collaborative, cross-sector projects and services which use direct insights from ISWAN’s core direct welfare services about the key challenges seafarers say they are facing, to facilitate solutions-focussed, proactive change in welfare and wellbeing standards. Before joining ISWAN, Georgia worked as a Footwear Buyer for an international high street retailer. She has an undergraduate degree in Ancient History from UCL, and has partially-completed training to become a counsellor.
