Raal is Chief Creative Officer of Ocean Technologies Group (OTG) the leading provider of Human Capital Management software solutions to the Maritime Industry. Having been formed from the coming together of the world recognised Seagull and Videotel and strengthened by further acquisitions OTG boasts a substantial percentage of the world fleet and its seafarers as users of their learning, fleet management and crew management solution.

Raal is responsible for leading brand development, marketing and communications activities for the group as well as its Industry outreach. As a keen participator in numerous Industry groups and forums, Raal evaluates the current and future status of the industry and the market to understand how best to serve the needs of OTG’s customers and stakeholders.

Prior to becoming part of the group Raal was Managing Director of Videotel, where over fifteen years he gained extensive experience in the production of maritime training content and software solutions.

Raal’s diverse background includes university lectureships in interaction design, information product design, and computer games design, which gave him invaluable experience in structuring and designing engaging learning material, evaluating learner performance and creating rewarding user experiences.
