After finishing his training and sailing duty as deck officer in the Royal Danish Navy in mid 90'ties Simon Frank took a shore position in a smaller Danish ship owning company in Copenhagen. There he from the practical operation level learned the crew management business. In 2010 he moved to Hong Kong where he 4 years worked for Wallem Ship Management - First as Fleet Personnel Director and later as Commercial Director. In beginning of 2015 Simon returned to Denmark to take the position as Head of Maritime HR in TORM A/S.

In 2018 Simon embarked a period working almost 5 years in Singapore for VShips and later Thome Ship Management. He is now again based in Denmark working as Vice President, Crewing Operations in NSB in Buxtehude/Hamburg.

Simon is sitting in several working groups in the maritime HR industry and is with his background a very experienced Marine HR capacity.
