Van is a young maritime professional who has had the opportunity to serve as a Third Officer on passenger ships. A former member of the first-ever Cadet Task Force, he has been involved with Crew Connect since 2022 and has received the Seafarer of the Year Award that same year. He has also shared his insights on various platforms, spoken at local and international events, and been featured in maritime publications. In 2023, Van founded VAV Studios, providing exceptional filmmaking and photography services that constantly bring his clients’ visions to life. Committed to lifelong learning, Van continues to make a difference in his profession while pursuing his passion, remaining grateful to God and his network for their support.
