Head of UK and New Markets at 21Shares

Alex is Head of the 21Shares business across the UK and New Markets, where he works with local investors to meet the growing demand for crypto solutions

Prior to starting at 21Shares in December 2021, Alex spent 15 years at BlackRock where he served in multiple leadership roles including as the BlackRock and iShares Country Head for Israel. After returning to the UK in 2019 he primarily worked with UK institutional investors around their long term asset allocation needs.

Prior to joining BlackRock, he was a Portfolio Manager at a London based hedge fund, Marble Bar Asset Management.

Alex earned a degree in International Business from the University of Georgia (USA) in 2000.
