Capt. Khushroo Mistree has Commanded Oil, Chemical and Gas carriers, He was a ship superintendent with an Off shore Diving and salvage shipping company M/S. Underwater services and also a Director with M/S. Seascan Services, a Marine surveying organization

He started his teaching career with LBS Nautical College Mumbai from 1990, and was at Anglo Eastern maritime Academy as founder Principal. He is presently with M/S. Anglo Eastern Maritime Training Centre – as Program head Tankers, is an External Examiner for Masters and Mates for D. G. Shipping Mumbai
Capt. KSD Mistree has presented papers since 1986 to IOC / BPC personnel on loss prevention and on LNG transportation to IPQC, Singapore in Korea He was involved in training Shore Port / Terminal representatives of the oil , chemical and Gas Industry in India and also training Port & Terminal operators and Managers of Ammonia QAFCO and LNG Qatar Gas terminal in Doha, Qatar.

Capt. KSD Mistree is actively involved in writing and updating IMO Model courses for Advanced Oil, LPG, LNG and Chemical Tanker courses and Liquid Cargo handling Simulator courses.
He was on the managing committee for developing course syllabus for Nautical Science IMU Chennai and DGS Mumbai.
