Sara R. Simon is counsel to Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, P.C. and a member of the firm's Life Sciences Compliance and Regulatory Counseling Department.

Sara counsels pharmaceutical, medical device and biotechnology companies on a variety of compliance-related issues, including federal and state fraud and abuse laws, FDA promotional regulations, state drug price transparency and aggregate spend, and industry standards regarding interactions with healthcare professionals.

Sara provides regulatory healthcare compliance advice regarding federal and state anti-kickback and anti-referral laws and is fluent in organizational HIPAA policies and procedures. She also has structured varied business arrangements between health care providers, focusing on structuring healthcare practices, and counseling clients regarding compliance with state and federal health care laws and regulatory issues.

To further advance her knowledge in the life sciences industry, Sara has also completed the Seton Hall Law US Healthcare Compliance Certification Program, where she also served as Director.
