Fatema Ahmed Kamal is the Chief Executive Officer of GFH’s education platform, which currently owns and operates nine schools across four countries in the Middle East and North Africa, with a platform size to surpass US$250mn in the coming 12 months. Fatema has 23 years of professional experience in finance and investments and a strong track record of sourcing, structuring, advising, and managing private equity transactions, tax structuring oversight, Sharia product structuring, business development and project management.

Before leading GFH’s education platform, Fatema served as an Executive Director in the Group’s investment management business. Prior to joining GFH, she was a Senior Executive Director of Investment Banking at Global Banking Corporation BSC and began her career as an auditor at KPMG Bahrain.

Fatema holds a master’s degree with honors in Business Administration from the University of Strathclyde, and a bachelor’s degree in accounting with honors from the University of Bahrain. She is also a qualified and licensed CPA from The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and CIA from The Institute of Internal Auditors.
