Hichem joined TPG in 2020 as a Business Unit Partner in the Rise Fund, where he leads EMEA Education and Healthcare impact investments.

With over 20 years of private equity and investment banking experience across Europe, Asia, and Africa, he previously co-led the Global Education sector at Actis. Hichem began his career at JPMorgan, first in the London M&A team, then in Hong Kong with the AIRRO fund, focusing on Asian investments.

At TPG, he has led investments in Outcomes First Group, the UK’s largest special education needs business, and Healthcademia, a leading healthcare education platform in Europe. He also partnered with the TGS fund on its investment in IU Group, Germany’s top online higher education provider.

Hichem holds an MBA from Wharton, graduating as a Palmer Scholar, engineering degrees from Ecole Polytechnique and Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, and a Master’s from Sciences-Po.
