Ihab is a transformation, turnaround, integration, M&A, and private equity C-suite executive, with deep sector expertise in K12 education, technology & telecom, and agriculture & AgTech.He is also an independent director on the boards of Saudia Dairy & Foodstuff Company (SADAFCO) and Atbara Cement Company (owned by Sulaiman Al-Rajhi Holding Company).
Ihab was previously the general manager of NADEC-New Businesses in KSA, president & CEO of Sudatel Telecom Group and a private equity sr. advisor at Kuwait Finance House (Bahrain). Before moving to the Afria+Middle East region, Ihab spent several years in the United States with Verizon Communications, GE Power and IBM.
Ihab serves/served on several corporate and nonprofit boards, including the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names & Numbers (ICANN) in Los Angeles, the UN Global Compact Business for Peace Steering Committee in New York, The Oslo Peace Foundation, in Norway, the U.S-Sudan Business Council in Washington, DC and the Khartoum Breast Cancer Hospital, and he also founded the Impact Hub Khartoum.
Ihab holds a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, a Master of Business Administration from Oxford University and a Bachelors of Electrical Engineering from the New York Institute of Technology.
