Sean Coote was appointed Vice President, International at Niagara College in January 2021. In this role, he leads the College’s global engagement strategy, international student recruitment and services, the School of English Language Studies, and oversees global partnerships and training — including operations at NC KSA and at Niagara College’s other Global Campuses.
Sean has been part of the Niagara College community for over 30 years. He is a proud graduate of the College’s business program and holds a master’s degree in organizational leadership.
Over the past two decades, Sean has become a leading voice in international education within the Canadian college system. He has championed the development of a balanced international strategy at Niagara College, resulting in significant growth in international enrolment and the expansion of Global Campus operations. Committed to student success, Sean led the development of a comprehensive international student support system, contributing to graduation rates consistently above 90%.
