Avanthi Shah is the Founder and Managing Partner of NextVerse Ventures, a Silicon Valleybased seed-stage venture firm focused on artificial intelligence, quantum computing and enabling deep technologies.She brings more than 25 years of experience as a technologist, entrepreneur and operating executive. Avanthi co-founded and scaled NextBrick, an enterprise technology company serving organizations including NASA, NBCUniversal, Toyota and MetLife, where she built and led an engineering organization of approximately 200 people. She also has more than nine years of venture investment-committee experience through How Women Invest Fund I and NextGen Venture Partners/Brown Advisory.Avanthi serves on the Board and Audit Committee of FINCA International. She is a Bloomberg New Voices alumna, a recipient of the CNBC-TV18 Woman Entrepreneur of the Year award and a member of YPO. She speaks on emerging-manager differentiation, venture capital, AI and quantum technologies, deep-tech commercialization and technology governance.
