Flavio Melis is the Founder of B.U.Y. Invest, a Swiss-based independent investment firm managing systematic long-term equity compounding strategies for international qualified investors, where he is responsible for investment strategy, portfolio construction and risk architecture. He developed the B.U.Y. Basic Strategy, a systematic framework designed to generate yield within clearly defined risk parameters, which he managed through both the 2020 market dislocation and the 2022 interest-rate tightening cycle. He is also a Founder of IndoWest Capital, a European-domiciled cross-border platform built in association with Equirus Group, a SEBI-registered Category I Merchant Banker and Portfolio Manager that has advised on more than 325 transactions representing USD 15.5 billion of cumulative deal value. IndoWest gives European professional and institutional investors a coordinated route into Indian capital markets, with a focus on the small and mid-cap segment, through regulated investment vehicles, manager-agnostic fund advisory and mid-market M&A. His work there centres on structuring the international vehicles through which foreign capital can access Indian strategies in an accessible and compliant way.

Flavio holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Bologna and an MSc in Corporate Finance from Nova School of Business and Economics.
