Nanda Kumar Puthucode is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Annapurna Alpha Capital, a closed-end crossover fund connecting the consumer at the grocery shelf, restaurant table, food-service counter, and gas pump back to the farm gate. A platform builder and capital allocator with over three decades across AgFood, Energy, Asset Management, and Technology, he has integrated investing, operating, and risk disciplines to compound capital across private and public markets. As Senior Vice President and Chief Investment Officer at Bunge Limited, he founded Bunge Ventures and scaled it across venture, growth, crossover, and public equities, with exits including Beyond Meat and Planet Labs. Before that, as Chief Business Officer, he contributed significantly to building Bunge Alpha, a multi-strategy platform and as Chief Market Risk Officer he elevated the risk function to a strategic advisory group to the trading team. His earlier mandates included transforming Bunge's $30B global oilseeds business, building its OTC derivatives platform, and leading cross-border treasury and business development across emerging markets, following roles at ABN AMRO Bank, ITC–ConAgra Foods, and Deloitte in India.
