Robert Zassman

Mr. Zassman is a Principal and is responsible for investment execution, analysis, due diligence, and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Gatewood, Robert held several positions at Blackstone Alternative Asset Management (now known as Blackstone Multi-Asset Investing). Robert was most recently on the investment team that focused on GP stakes investments through the Blackstone Strategic Capital Holdings platform. He previously was in Blackstone’s Global Fund Finance group, where he worked on fund accounting and operations for certain funds including Blackstone’s GP stakes and hedge fund seeding platforms. He began his career at EY, where he was a member of audit assurance focusing on alternative asset management firms.

Robert graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Applied Economics and Management and is a Certified Public Accountant.
