Robert Zassman

Robert is a Vice President and is responsible for investment execution, analysis, due diligence, and portfolio management.

Prior to joining Gatewood, Robert held several positions at Blackstone Alternative Asset Management (BAAM). Robert was most recently on the investment team that focused on GP stakes investments through Blackstone Strategic Capital Holdings, and was a key member in its fundraising efforts. He previously was in Blackstone’s Global Fund Finance group, where he oversaw fund accounting and operations for Blackstone’s GP stakes and seeding platforms.

He began his career at EY, where he audited alternative asset management firms. Robert graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Finance and Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
