Before investing, Sri held senior executive roles at Microsemi andAltera (now Intel), spanning general management, M&A and internationalbusiness development.He is Founder and Managing Director of Chakra Growth Capital, a globalventure capital firm he founded in 2019. Chakra backs AI-driven companiesdisrupting legacy markets such as banking, finance, mobility, energy andindustrials.Since 2019, Sri has backed more than 20 technology companies from seedthrough Series B, with seven exits and one IPO on the horizon. He hasserved on boards of technology companies across the US and Europe.Sri has built Chakra around a team of former operators who work hands-onwith founders, bringing an operator playbook to scaling, go-to-market andM&A. Together, they guide founders through the moments that matter most:scaling operations, entering new markets, and preparing for strategic exits.Based in Silicon Valley, Sri has lived and worked across the US, Europe andAsia. Together with Chakra’s global team across these regions, he bringsdeep networks to every stage of the journey, from investment to scale to exit.An engineering alumnus (MSEE) of Santa Clara University in the heart ofSilicon Valley, Sri gives back as a mentor to social entrepreneurs through theuniversity’s Miller Center.
