Tristan Jennings has invested in startups and small businesses across multiple cycles and verticals. He began his career in engineering before transitioning to financial services and technology investing on behalf of large privately and publicly held companies. Over the past few years,Tristan has led investments in numerous successful Space-related ventures. A lack of dedicated and educated capital providers beyond the Seed stage ultimately prompted him to launch Solaris Ventures as a Solo GP.
With record-breaking dealmaking in the sector as of late, space technology offers a diverse range of business models and investment strategies, and Solaris is positioned to capture the most exciting opportunities in the sector. Tristan brings an understanding of complexities of space-related businesses, including pursuing government contracts and the strategic use of capital to advance TRL levels. He holds an M.Sc. from the London School of Economics.
