Urvi brings a distinctive combination of clinical healthcare expertise, business administration acumen, and venture capital experience to The Good Science Fund. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) with a Master of Business Administration (MBA), she occupies a rare position bridging scientific innovation and commercial viability. Her comprehensive understanding of healthcare delivery systems, patient care pathways, and clinical outcomes measurement enables The Good Science Fund to evaluate investment opportunities with a degree of scientific rigor unattainable by conventional venture firms. The Fund’s thesis is from the book she co-authored called The Sustainability Scorecard with Dr. Paul Anastas.

Prior to founding The Good Science Fund, Urvi held progressive leadership roles in healthcare operations and strategic planning, developing particular expertise in payer-provider dynamics, regulatory navigation, and health outcomes measurement. She is committed to democratizing access to cutting-edge healthcare innovations and maintains the conviction that venture capital should serve communities historically excluded from the innovation economy. She is based in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area and travels extensively to support portfolio companies and ecosystem development.
