This award recognizes the outstanding achievements of law firms who have demonstrated exceptional expertise and impact in advising on life science transactions over the past year. It celebrates the collective efforts of advisory teams whose work has significantly contributed to advancing the life sciences industry through strategic guidance, innovative solutions, and value creation.
Criteria & Judging
It is open to European life science companies only.
Qualifying criteria:
- Open to law firms advising on life science transactions.
- The award focuses on the team's overall activity and achievements between 1 September 2025 and 1 August 2026, rather than a single transaction.
- Eligible activities include advisory work on licensing agreements, co-development deals, partnerships, alliances, or M&A transactions involving European Life Science companies.
- The team must demonstrate a consistent track record of excellence, innovation, and measurable impact during the qualifying period.
Judges will be paying particular attention to:
- The breadth and significance of the team's advisory work across multiple transactions.
- Evidence of innovative approaches and creative problem-solving in deal structuring and execution.
- The strategic importance and value creation enabled by the team's contributions.
- The ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver successful outcomes for clients.
- The overall impact of the team's work on advancing the life sciences industry and fostering cross-border or transformative collaborations.
