Joost Beaumont is a Senior Fixed Income Strategist with lead responsibility for covered bonds, ABS, and financials, focussing on the euro-denominated market. He has been part of Group Economics at ABN AMRO since 2010. He is a member of the Financial Markets Research team. He is also the Chairman of the Statistics & Data Working Group of the European Covered Bond Council. Previously, Joost worked as a senior European Economist, while he spent nearly seven years as a policy advisor at the central bank of the Netherlands Antilles. Joost studied macroeconomics at the University of Amsterdam from 1993 to 1998.
